Umflozi Pollution

I took a drive past the Wit Umflozi River yesterday on the Babanango road to see if the dead chickens had been cleaned up. The huge sacks of carcuses are still floating in the river. This river flows into Klipfontein Dam which is where the towns drinking water comes from.

There was a fishing compitition at the dam on Saturday, I hope there were no kids swimming and playing in the water. The diseases and polluatants must be increasing dramaticly in the dam.

Who knows what else is going into that dam.
